DO NOT STAY HERE
Positive: Whatever could be liked about this place was ruined by the other aspects of the property.
Negative: 1. Cleanliness. The cleanliness was shocking. Me and my partner had to spend a total of 4 hrs cleaning the stuff we needed to use. Light switches, fridge pots and pans etc.
2. A dirty feeling. The bed linen was old smelled of dog. The mattress and the sofa was old.
3. Blown patio window
4. The owners toot left around the place. Draws/cupboards left with junk Inc medications.
5. Ability to contact Booking.com. phoned booking.com to change property. They never got back to us.

Great potential with room for improvements
Positive: The apartment was in a great location, just a 10-minute walk from the town center. The balcony was a highlight—very sunny and perfect for sunbathing, with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields and ruins. We loved hearing birds and donkeys in the background, and the area was wonderfully quiet, with no traffic noise. The swing on the balcony was also very comfortable.
Although we didn’t use the kitchen, it appeared to be well equipped. We had no issues with hot water during our stay. The self-check-in and check-out process was straightforward, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions.
It was a nice surprise to find that previous guests had left a pack of water bottles, which we were able to use. In return, we left two new packs of water and a couple of beers for the next guests.
The apartment was well-equipped with useful amenities like a washing machine, clothes drying rack, hairdryer, and even two refrigerators. The host was also very understanding—we didn’t have time to sort our waste and left a single mixed bag, which wasn’t a problem.
Negative: Bathroom:
- The shower setup was inconvenient. It was located inside a bathtub that seemed to be installed backward, with the sloped side directly under the showerhead, making it awkward to stand and shower comfortably.
- There was a glass panel meant to prevent water from splashing out, but its seal at the bottom was ineffective. Water leaked onto the bathroom floor and even into the hallway because there’s no floor drain or proper slope. Judging by the mold line on the floor, this appears to be a long-standing issue.
Bedroom:
- The bed had a spring mattress that was quite firm. When one person moved, the entire mattress would wobble, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably with a partner.
- The window faced an internal courtyard and didn’t block noise well—you could hear sounds from neighbors and airplanes. The curtains also let in a lot of light in the morning, so it wasn’t ideal for sleeping in.
- There were no power outlets near the bed or a nightlamp available. We found an extension cord in the apartment and had to run it under the bed ourselves, along with plugging in a lamp we found elsewhere. It's unclear if these were removed after our stay.
- Also, there were no power adapters available in the apartment, so be sure to bring your own if you need one.
- Strangely, there was a fridge and microwave located in the bedroom. The fridge made noise at night, and the microwave emitted flashing lights. We ended up unplugging both to get some sleep.
